Puki Bowls

Puki Bowls

$45.00

Friday, March 20th, 2 - 4 PM at the Gallery at the Park, Richland, WA

Join us for a beginner-friendly pottery class using the ancient Anasazi method! These bowls were made by pressing clay into an existing form called a puki. This pottery-making method was used by the Anasazi 1500 years ago. It became the base for many of their ceramic vessels, such as mugs, vases, storage jars, and canteens.

This method is a great way to introduce pottery to anyone interested in working with clay. We have the clay and puki molds, so bring your creative mind and discover some of the many variations of this process.

COST: $45

All proceeds from this class go to Empty Bowls, a fundraiser benefiting the Tri-Cities Food Bank.
