Join watercolor artist and Daniel Smith Brand Ambassador, Loel Kathmann, to give your artwork mood, texture, and movement using granulating watercolors. Loel’s Great Granulation class will help you:   

• Understand granulating pigment basics 

• Work with a variety of granulating watercolors, including those made from gemstones

• Combine strongly granulating pigments with more traditional watercolors

• Let your granulating pigments speak softly or dial up the drama in your compositions

• Paint your own Birds That Sing using some of Loel’s favorite granulating pigments.

All supplies are provided for in class use.

This class is designed for all levels. Artists with watercolor experience are invited to bring their favorite paints from home for the opportunity to combine watercolors they already know and love with new skills they will learn.
