For children ages 7-16*

  • Morning Session: 10 AM – Noon for artists from ages 7 – 11

  • Afternoon session: 1 PM – 3 PM for artists from ages 12 - 16

Cost for the week: $60

Your student artist will enjoy:

  • 10 total hours of instruction time, 2 hours/day for 5 days

  • All materials needed to succeed

  • Small class sizes (limit 16 students)

  • One-on-one instruction time with the teaching artist. We employ assistants for our teachers so that each child can receive the individualized attention they require.

  • An apron to use during class, although we still recommend wearing “mess-friendly” clothing…just in quesadilla!

About this class:
Join teaching artist Tenesha Corn in learning about the colorful world of printmaking. Student artists will design and carve their own print “plates” to complete Warhol-inspired pop art collections and a custom printed canvas tote. We will also experiment with gel-printing, which is as equally lovely as it is messy, kids of all ages have a blast with this technique.

Tenesha Corn is a member of the Allied Arts Association. She works primarily in mixed media and graphic design but calls herself a “creative dabbler”. Her background in Early Education and love for the arts spurs her on to help children discover creative avenues that spark excitement and foster interest in artistic fields.

*Due to space limitations, adults are not permitted to sit-in during children’s workshops.
Refund Policy: A full refund will be given if the Gallery or Instructor cancels the class.
No refund will be given if the student cancels after the registration deadline (one week prior to class date). If the student cancels prior to the registration deadline a 75% refund will be given.
